Anne Holz Presents at Nebraska Extension Front Door Forum

In October, IANR Media Web Strategist Anne Holz presented on web content strategy at the Nebraska Extension Front Door Forum in Norfolk, NE. The Front Door Forum is an annual two-day conference attended by Nebraska Extension staff to learn useful tips for in the office and to meet and interact with coworkers from across the state.

Anne's presentation during the Web Management/Technology session  coordinated with the rollout of new features to the county website management system. Anne talked about why you need a content strategy, the process for creating a workflow and how to apply website best practices. The session also included a county website management system demo by Eric Rasmussen from Internet and Interactive Media.

"My favorite part of presenting is getting to meet Extension staff from across the state that I've only had the opportunity to communicate with through email or on the phone," Anne said.  "I feel fortunate to have been asked to present at the Front Door Forum. It's such a high-energy, engaging group and even though I'm presenting, when I leave, I feel like I've learned something new."

In addition to Web Management/Technology, the conference breakout sessions also included 4-H Online/ShoWorks, Self Defense & Personal Safety and Kitchen Hacks & Fun Snacks.
